    @iPhoneAppChecker

    While that’s laughable by today’s standards, you have to realize, back in the day, that iMac as a fucking beast of a computer!

    What I find so amazing about the first generation iMac is, having worked on them, built them, and repaired them, though what you see is one beautiful bondi blue and white machine, inside, it looks as if they took a regular computer from 1998, and put it in a pretty case. (The inside of this thing is quite literally beige)

    Still, though nowadays the original iMac can’t do too much, it’s still a beautiful relic of Apple’s rebirth.

    how quaint, they were still using Garamond for their corporate identity, instead of Myriad. so jarring

    For a half of iMac price, I bought AM K6 3d MMX ready at 333mhz with a soyo 5eh-m, 1×128Mb PC-100, Hdd Hitachi 8Gb, Vipper 330 riva 128 4MB vram. Cdr 56s Teac SCSI 6x and 15″ CTR Viewsonic…and still works perfect. YES, MAC RIP with atari and C= amiga in the rest of world. PC=90% and my S.O. no cost 70% of my machine.
