   @UncannyRicardo it is the fight we all go to because boxers are very lost in MMA, and and thats the most known video of boxer vs grappler. in MMA 9 outta 10 times the grappler will win. the leg strikes arent easy to hit by any mean but these are pros with experience and game plans Toney is slow, old, hasnt headlined in a decade and has no training in mma won’t be hard for Randy (a gameplan expert) to get him down or use leg kicks James has a 15% punchers chance at best in this fight.

   James Toney is the fuckin man.This is a really ballzy thing to do. To go into uncharted waters like hes doing, and on top of that to fight an awesome wrestler like Couture. This dude has a lot on his plate i really hope by some freak chance Toney wins. They should have givin him a more striker based opponent, then he would have fucked them up.

   I pretty agree that Couture does have many more ways to win than Toney does. However I do think that a well placed shot could end the fight against Couture if it lands, no garantee it will but looking at how Couture has been knocked out by fighters with less punching power then Toney, it makes since.

   Im not saying Trinidad was not great, only that knockouts do happen.

   @UncannyRicardo mma allows you to win multiple ways not just by knockout.couture will come at him with all for limbs and when james is down,knees to the face.

    LOL, yea thats the fight every body likes to use to compare boxing vs bjj.

    Anyway what I was trying to show is that trying to beat a boxer by kicks is not as easy as it seems. Yea kickboxers make it seem easy, but thats because they are specifically trained in striking the legs. When someone like Radach (who isen’t a striker) tries to do the same as a kickboxer, he’s gonna get knocked the fuck out.

    So Couture trying to strike with Toney should be a big no no.

    @UncannyRicardo You have some good points, and Couture has no plan of standing for sure. Benji Radach is a wrestler not a striker, and that fight with Lafevere is probablly one of the only fights where a boxer came out on top, and he won’t give Radach a rematch… /watch?v=JPj8pXVmxv8 isa Boxing vs BJJ and that will be much more like Toney/Couture (given Randy is a wrestler and not a BJJ expert) Toney will be so lost he will tap from position.

    he wanted to fight brock lesnar??? brock will tear him apart strike,wrestling, anything. mma is a whole different level from boxing and different ways to dominate your opponent. this guy doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into and i can’t wait for his ass to get beat so he can shut his mouth!!
